Description

Methyl acetate is a fast-evaporating, low-boiling ester solvent with a sweet, fruity odor. Due to its excellent solvency, it finds broad use in industrial and commercial applications.

This ester solvent offers low toxicity, good compatibility, and minimal residue. It efficiently dissolves resins, oils, and cellulose derivatives. Its fast evaporation helps reduce drying times and improves flow in coatings and inks. Methyl acetate is also recognized for its role in environmentally friendly formulations, as it has low VOC content and is readily biodegradable.
